Founded in Padua, Italy, Safilo is the second largest manufacturer of optical products around the world in terms of turnover and the world leader in the premium segment.

At the end of 2012, Safilo Group acquired at their disposal a very old and famous brand Polaroid Eyewear.

Safilo is present in about 130 countries, and its products are sold directly through the 30 commercial subsidiaries and through a network of local agents and distributors, which reach more than 80,000 points of sale worldwide. Over the past 30 years, Safilo carries out development policy for its distribution network, selectively open branches in the markets showing the greatest potential in terms of quality and quantity, which enables the company to effectively manage product distribution.
